Job Summary
Scrub for surgeries across robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic, and trauma cases. Collaborate with surgeons and registered nurses to deliver patient care before, during, and after operations. Maintain Certified Surgical Technician and NBSTSA certifications while working independently with strong communication skills. Work day shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an OR Technician training program
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Ability to make calls
- Flexibility
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Certified Surgical Technician
- NBSTSA Certification
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Must be able to work alternating weekends, holidays and call coverage
