Job Summary

Computer Engineer sought to aid in development of next generation RF and digital systems. Responsibilities include design and prototyping of complex RF systems with primary focus on digital (FPGA/DSP/microcontroller-based) circuits, networking, firmware and software. Work within a team of electrical and mechanical engineers on architecture/concept development, experimental prototyping, and demonstrating results for advanced RF prototypes. Ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a small team. Desired skills include FPGA/VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog implementation, digital interfaces (SPI, PCIe, Gigabit Ethernet), software for real-time distributed systems, RF test equipment operation (network/spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, software defined radios), C++, Java in real-time Linux, Matlab/C/C++, Python, and strong communication.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related technical degree with demonstrable knowledge of embedded signal processing hardware is preferred
  • Experience developing synthesizable VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog
  • Experience implementing FPGA designs in hardware
  • Experience testing and debugging firmware designs in both simulation and in hardware
  • Recent Graduate Hiring Range: $100,200 - $120,000
  • Experienced Hiring Range: $100,200 - $150,000
