Job Summary
Assemble computer components according to specifications using hand and power tools; work from assembly procedures, prints, and written or oral instructions to build computers, subassemblies, cable harnesses, and complete computer systems; test assembled units and communicate ideas to improve process, quality, or work conditions; maintain a clean, organized work area; fast-paced team environment at Core Systems' Poway, CA facility; tools include screwdrivers, wrenches, crimpers, power drivers, soldering irons, drills, taps, and other bench equipment; requires reading blueprints/schematics and strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year directly related experience, 2+ experience preferred
- Proven experience in computer assembly
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Available to work Monday to Friday 7AM to 3:30PM
