Job Summary
Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment, including Somatom Excite systems, while providing X-ray support. Transport patients to and from imaging areas as the sole staff member on your shift. Interpret physician instructions and operate CT equipment for an area healthcare facility. Shift hours are 9p to 9a, Fridays through Sundays, totaling 36 hours per week with holiday rotation and no call. No call.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years CT Tech experience
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- BLS certification
- 12 months minimum of Computed Tomography / CT Tech experience
- 12 months minimum of X-Ray experience
- somatom xcite experience
- EPIC EMR experience
- ARRT (CT) (R)
- Active ARRT at time of submission
- AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS - basic life support
- Shift hours: 9p - 9a
- Shift days: Fri, Sat, Sun
- 36 hrs/week
- Holiday rotation
- No call
- Weekend requirement: as scheduled
- Primarily CT, with X-ray support
- Responsible for transport to and from imaging
