Job Summary
Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility. Perform angiogram procedures and float throughout the Radiology department across different hospital areas. Work 40 hours per week in shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, with weekend rotation typically once a month. On-call requirements are voluntary, and free parking is available. This assignment is located in Montgomery, Alabama, offering access to historic landmarks and waterfront recreation.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years CT Tech experience
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- BLS certification
- ARRT-CT certification
- Experience with angiogram procedures
- 40 hours per week
- Weekend rotation varies, typically once a month based on departmental needs
- Floating required throughout the hospital in different areas of the Radiology department
