Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job

Job Summary
Follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials as indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for patient care. Respond promptly to changing clinical needs and work collaboratively with radiologists, nursing, and support staff to support diagnostic accuracy and timely treatment decisions. Maintain patient safety during contrast administration and scanning while ensuring high-quality imaging for improved patient outcomes. Shift hours run from 1:00 PM to 1:30 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with a weekly guaranteed 36 hours and weekend requirements every Saturday and Sunday. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years CT technologist experience
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS certification (VHS-specific BLS required for facility)
- Valid Virginia state license or ability to work with a temporary license while obtaining VA license
- Experience performing routine and advanced CT procedures
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Weekend requirement: every Saturday and Sunday
- Shift hours: 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems preferred
- Experience operating GE CT equipment preferred
- Prior hospital CT experience, preferably in an acute care setting
