Job Summary
Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility. Provide diagnostic CT scans for radiologist interpretation and assist with special CT procedures while adhering to radiation protection principles. Work the 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift with weekend and call requirements as needed. Utilize the EPIC EMR system and scrub in black. Required Qualifications
- 2 years CT Tech experience
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- BLS certification
- Experience providing diagnostic C.T. scans for interpretation by a radiologist
- Experience assisting with special C.T. procedures
- Knowledge of radiation protection principles
- Weekend requirements: As needed
- Call requirements: As needed
- Float requirements: As needed
- EMR: EPIC
