Job Summary
Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for a hospital facility in Jefferson, LA. Float between departments including the emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient clinics. Complete required allied health licensure within 72 hours of signing and maintain ARRT (CT) certification with BLS. Expectations may include assignment to an emergency response team as directed by unit management. This role supports Radiology and Cardiology areas with a Day 5x8 schedule from 11:30 to 20:00.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience, including ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings
- Experience with CT procedures across emergency department, main hospital campus, and outpatient clinics
- Current BLS certification
- Ability and willingness to float between departments within the facility, including ED, inpatient, outpatient, and nearby clinics
- Assignment to an emergency response team as directed by unit management
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program
