Job Summary
Conduct accurate CT imaging for inpatient and outpatient care by interpreting physician instructions, administering contrast materials, and operating CT equipment for general and vascular studies. Interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT equipment to support inpatient and outpatient care including general CT and vascular studies. Maintain proficiency in EPIC charting while working within a high-volume clinical environment managing approximately 50 patients per shift. Complete at least one orientation shift to learn unit flow before starting standard 40-hour weeks from 1:30 pm to 12:00 am.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience, including general CT and vascular procedures
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiologic technology program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification for CT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACR and IEMA certifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic charting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a busy hospital setting, including trauma and stroke patient care
- Experience with GE CT equipment
- Prior experience in a Level I trauma center, Level II NICU, or teaching hospital
- Previous travel assignment experience
