Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Job Summary
Interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, operate CT equipment, position and instruct patients, and determine technical exposure factors to ensure safe, quality patient care. Perform procedures of an invasive nature per facility protocol while ensuring correct labeling. Requires current ARRT registration in Computed Tomography, BLS certification, and experience with Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice CT or similar multi-slice scanners. Must be willing to take call and perform moderate to heavy physical effort. Evening shifts from 1500 to 2330, Monday through Friday, for a 13-week assignment in Aberdeen, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent)
- Current ARRT registration in Computed Tomography (or ARRT with CT experience as required by client)
- BLS certification
- Two years diagnostic imaging experience
- Cross-sectional anatomy knowledge
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 40 pounds and perform moderate to heavy physical effort using proper body mechanics
- Must be able to take call as required by the facility
- Candidate must be able to perform procedures of an invasive nature per facility protocol
