Job Summary
Perform diagnostic CT procedures for inpatients and outpatients, administer contrast materials per physician orders, and operate CT equipment while adhering to departmental protocols. Conduct imaging for head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and CT-guided biopsy/drainage under radiologist direction. Work night shifts with weekend and call requirements, including potential float to other facilities within the client network. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience
- Travel experience required for travel submissions
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent)
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification for CT or general radiography with CT competency
- State licensure as a radiographer where required
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency in routine diagnostic CT procedures including head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and CT-guided biopsy/drainage procedures
- Knowledge of CT system processing, contrast media administration, cross-sectional anatomy, and sterile/surgical procedures as applied to imaging
- Nights shift availability
- Weekends and call availability
- Ability to float to other facilities within the client network as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in hospital radiology environments, including OR imaging, portable radiography, and C-arm procedures
