Job Summary
Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment, including Siemens systems, 64-slice CTs, x-ray rooms, portable x-ray machines, C-arms, and Norland DEXA machines. Perform daily diagnostic imaging coverage for an area healthcare facility in Satanta, Kansas, utilizing the Cerner charting system. This 4-day, 10-hour shift rotation includes on-call responsibilities for Monday, Tuesday, and two weekends. Required Qualifications
- 2 years CT Tech experience
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- BLS certification
- Current Kansas license
- Experience with Siemens equipment
- Experience with CT 64-slice
- Experience with x-ray room
- Experience with portable x-ray machine
- Experience with C-arm
- Experience with Norland DEXA machine
- CT experience
- Certification and license required at time of submission
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Shift days: Monday - Thursday
- On-call required: Monday, Tuesday, and 2 weekends
- Charting system: Cerner
