Job Summary
Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility. Perform general diagnostic radiography and portable radiography procedures on patients of all ages while operating CT and X-ray equipment. Maintain current Virginia licensure and ARRT certification, with BLS certification from AHA only. Work Friday-Sunday shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every weekend, with no on-call requirement. Required Qualifications
- 2 years CT Tech experience
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- BLS certification
- Current Virginia license
- BLS certification from AHA only
- Completion of an AMA accredited Radiology Technology program
- 3 years of CT and Radiologic Technologist experience
- Ability to perform general diagnostic radiography and portable radiography procedures on patients of all ages
- Ability to operate CT and X-ray equipment
- Knowledge of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be available for all shifts as needed
- Shift hours: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Weekend requirement: every weekend
