Job Summary
Perform prescribed CT procedures in accordance with department policies, producing high-quality images while educating patients and maintaining documentation. Execute equipment quality control and support efficient department workflow by collaborating with medical imaging, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams. Adhere strictly to safety, regulatory, ethical, and confidentiality standards. Shift hours are 1900-0730 on a night schedule, with potential for varied work schedules per facility requirements. This role impacts patient care by providing quality imaging services that support timely diagnosis and treatment, while maintaining equipment performance and inventory to ensure uninterrupted care.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- State licensure for AZ; includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire
- Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT)) within 18 months of hire
- BLS certification
- Two years of CT experience
- Effective communication skills
- Human relations skills
- Data analysis skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Night shift schedule
