Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job

Job Summary
Operate CT scanner to deliver accurate imaging per physician instructions, administer contrast materials when needed, and participate in on-call coverage. Responsibilities include performing CT procedures (including invasive procedures as applicable), maintaining patient safety and comfort, and ensuring image quality. Must be accustomed to cross-sectional anatomy, experience with multislice CT equipment (preferably Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice), and hold current ARRT CT or radiologic technologist registry. BLS certification is required; able to lift up to 40 pounds and assist with patient and equipment transport. Travel-friendly assignment with outpatient imaging setting and potential on-call duties; further details provided by recruiter.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of AMA- or JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT registration in CT or Radiologic Technologist registry as required by the facility
- Two years of diagnostic radiology experience preferred; at minimum demonstrated competency in CT procedures
- Possess knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Experience operating a Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice CT scanner or similar multislice CT equipment preferred
- BLS certification
- Ability to safely lift and move patients and equipment, including lifting up to 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist
- Preferred qualifications: experience with contrast administration and interpretation of scanning protocols; prior experience performing invasive CT procedures; outpatient imaging experience
Desired Qualifications
