Job Summary
Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for hospital facilities in Jefferson, LA. Administer contrast materials and operate CT scan equipment for a hospital facility in Jefferson, LA. Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience, including ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings required. ARRT (CT) certification required. Current BLS certification required. Ability and willingness to float between departments within the facility, including ED, inpatient, outpatient, and nearby clinics. Day 5x8-Hour shift from 11:30 - 20:00. Candidate must apply for allied health licensure within 72 hours of signing. Expectations may include assignment to an emergency response team as directed by unit management.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience, including ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings
- Experience with CT procedures across emergency department, main hospital campus, and outpatient clinics
- Current BLS certification
- Ability and willingness to float between departments within the facility, including ED, inpatient, outpatient, and nearby clinics
- Assignment to an emergency response team as directed by unit management
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program
