Job Summary
Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment for chest, abdomen/pelvis, PE, brain, and head exams. Perform portable exams in the ED and other inpatient units while working independently with ancillary support. Complete 40 hours per week during shifts from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM with no weekend rotation, on-call requirement, or floating. Required Qualifications
- 2 years CT Tech experience
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- BLS certification
- IEMA certification
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Graduate of an accredited CT program
- Competent in routine CT procedures including chest, abdomen/pelvis, PE, brain, and head
- Ability to work independently and with ancillary support and another CT Technologist
- Ability to perform portable exams in the ED and other inpatient units
- Shift hours: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM
- 40 hours per week
- No weekend rotation
- No on-call requirement
- No floating
