Job Summary
Accurately interpret physicians' scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, and operate CT equipment safely and efficiently in an outpatient setting. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Maintain professionalism while exercising sound judgment in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating effective communication with patients, guests, and colleagues. Prioritize tasks and solve problems methodically to impact the quality of care for patients.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as required by Maryland for radiologic technologists
- Current ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification as required by state regulations
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Able to demonstrate effective, professional communication and interpersonal skills with patients, guests, and colleagues
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and solve problems methodically
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification preferred or required per state regulations
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred, including CT experience
