Computed Tomography Technologist – Full Time

Job Summary
Operate the CT scanner to obtain diagnostic scans within ARRT/ASRT scope and Ohio Department of Health rules; review examinations for technical accuracy; transmit images to PACS and document scanning in electronic records; participate in CT call rotation; monitor supply expiration dates and dispose of expired items; attend at least 75% of department meetings; schedule patients with Outpatient Scheduling; maintain compliance with RQI and required training; assume additional duties as needed to support the department; shift patterns include 7 on/7 off with nights and weekend coverage; role located in Marietta, OH within a hospital setting; promotes growth opportunities within a large hospital system and offers benefits and potential sign-on/relocation options.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or registration in Radiography with CT credentialing as required by employer
- BLS certification
- Experience operating CT scanners and transmitting images to PACS
- Experience scheduling patients and coordinating with outpatient scheduling personnel
- Experience participating in departmental on-call rotations
- Familiarity with RT and RQI compliance requirements and departmental quality processes
- Proficiency with computers and electronic imaging systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
