Job Summary
Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, skillfully administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment while assessing patient status according to department policies. Perform CT exams across the lifespan and strictly follow contrast safety protocols. This permanent, full-time role in Juneau, AK requires one year of experience, JRCERT accreditation, and current ARRT certification with CT specialization. BLS certification is mandatory. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified hires within this non-profit regional health system.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography or Radiography with CT certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist
- Experience working in a hospital setting preferred
- Experience administering contrast media and following contrast safety protocols
