Job Summary
CT Technologist role performing computed tomography scans using ionizing radiation, identifying patients and procedures, and preparing the room with IV contrast as needed. Responsibilities include positioning patients for CT procedures, applying correct scanning protocols, collaborating with radiologists, and documenting histories and delays. Requires proficiency with 3D imaging and multiplanar reconstruction, operation of PACS, and ability to train coworkers and students. Supervisory responsibilities are non-management; position is full-time with weekend shifts at Richland Facility, reporting to a supervisor/manager. Certifications and licenses (ARRT CT, CPR, SCRQSA) are required. The role emphasizes patient communication, equipment readiness, measurement accurately, and adherence to procedural protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Education - Certification Program
- Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Registered and registered in CT
- CPR
- SCRQSA certification (Required for team members working in South Carolina)
