Job Summary
Perform computerized tomographic procedures for disease and injury diagnosis according to established radiologist protocols. Prepare and position patients while selecting accurate anatomic and technical parameters. Administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice, observing patients for abnormal activity and reporting findings. Monitor protocols and recommend updates as warranted, while strictly following radiation safety procedures and maintaining a constant state of alertness. This PRN role at MO-SSM Health St. Clare Hospital supports diagnostic imaging needs with daily pay available and shift differentials for night, weekend, and additional shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
- Completion of Radiology/Nuclear Medicine/Radiation Therapy program as week as CT credential within 12 months of hire date
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-T Radiation Therapy - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
