Job Summary
Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately for CT imaging exams used in diagnostic treatment. Implement radiation protection and safety standards while preparing, performing, and assisting physicians in special procedures. Administer contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice. Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and submit high-quality images and documents to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department including procedure rooms and storage areas. Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Perform other duties as assigned. This Night Shift role at OK-SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital Midwest requires a Radiology Technologist with ARRT-CT certification and BLS.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
- Must work at least 30% of FTE in secondary modality to be eligible for a Multiple Modality job
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-T Radiation Therapy - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
