Job Summary
Perform a variety of imaging exams for diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries. Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately while implementing radiation protection and safety standards. Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special procedures, including administering contrast media and medications within scope. Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and submit high-quality images and documents to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department including procedure rooms and storage areas. Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Radiology program as well as CT credential and 2 years of experience
- Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
- Must work at least 30% of FTE in secondary modality to be eligible for a Multiple Modality job
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
