Job Summary
Build computational models and maintain advanced workflows across architecture, urban design, and engineering projects. Work interoperably between 3D modeling software, GIS, BIM, and development environments while integrating environmental, economic, and demographic data sources. Collaborate with internal and external clients to translate design intent into computational strategies and create accessible presentation materials. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and build technical expertise across the firm through continuing education and team collaboration. Submit a portfolio highlighting relevant parametric modeling work and present past projects for technical review. Work remotely or from any U.S. office with flexibility in schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Computational Design, Interactive Media Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or related fields
- Strong skills in Rhino and Grasshopper
- demonstrated experience building and deploying complex parametric models
- Knowledge of programming languages
- experience using these to extend the capabilities of Grasshopper
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a professional Urban Design, Planning, Landscape Architectural, or Architectural firm
- Project portfolio showcasing parametric modeling
- Ability to multi-task with a keen eye for detail and precision
- Ability to deliver in challenging project timeframes and deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Critical thinking skills to develop innovative solutions
- Option to work from any of our offices throughout the United States or remotely
