Compressor Specialist Engineer

Job Summary
Provide technical support to the operation team during the entire lifecycle of compressors, analyzing performance, operative conditions, and boundaries to guarantee reliable and safe operations. Troubleshoot compressor and rotating equipment failures by utilizing sound maintenance strategies to analyze, address, and rectify root causes, preventing reoccurrences. Implement best-in-class solutions and lead efficiency improvement initiatives, upgrading programs, and projects for compressors in accordance with international standards such as API 610, 617, 618, 619, and 692. Propose changes in operating modes or technological improvements to support continuous improvement. Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 15 years in rotating equipment, and 5 years in compressor troubleshooting. Relocation to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum of 15 years experience in the rotating equipment discipline
- At least 5 years of specialized experience in compressors
- 5 years relevant experience in the field of troubleshooting & assessments
- Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles
- Calculation methods
- Design details
- International codes, standards and specifications, including API610, API 617, API 618, API 619, API 692
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the basic investigation tools and techniques like FRACAS, RCA, and TAPROOT
