Compression Operator - 3rd shift

The 3rd shift Compression Operator sets up and operates the compression machine per batch records and SOPs to ensure compliant, high-quality tablet production. Responsibilities include making machine adjustments during runs, performing in-process checks (average weight, thickness, hardness, friability, and tablet weight), visually inspecting the press, conducting minor and major cleanings of compression rooms, verifying BR entries, maintaining calibration and weighing scales, ensuring cleanliness of the compression area, identifying tablet defects (sticking, chipping, capping), reviewing batch records for accuracy, properly identifying and segregating rejected tablets, and communicating issues to a supervisor. The role requires maintaining online documentation for compression operations, following cGMP and FDA guidelines, and working in a drug-free environment.
