Job Summary
Install air piping and compressor equipment at customer facilities, including on-site layout of compressed air equipment and inspection of jobsites for piping needs. Document work performed using designated forms and submit reports to business units while coordinating with Parts and Sales Departments to facilitate service. Adhere to OSHA regulatory requirements by consistently donning appropriate personal protective equipment and read prints to create parts and pipe lists. Provide feedback to the foreman for proper quoting to the customer. Drive forklift, boom-lift, and scissor lifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Driver's License
- 2+ years' mechanical technician experience
- Ability to prioritize tasks with strong time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Proven ability to read prints and create parts & pipe list
Desired Qualifications
- Compressed air systems, air piping, equipment layout
- Mechanical background, Plumbing gas piping, Hydronics, process piping
- Give proper feed back to your foreman for proper quoting to the customer
- Be able to drive forklift, Boom-Ariel and scissor lifts (certifications will be provided in training)
