Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care by managing a diverse caseload, coordinating treatment plans with physicians, and conducting thorough assessments to develop individualized care plans. Administer physical therapy treatments and skilled therapeutic interventions while instructing patients and families on exercises and equipment use. Manage daily prioritization of caseload, determine staffing needs, and coordinate patient assignments with fellow therapists. Treat pediatric and elderly patients with conditions including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM. Requires current New York State licensure and a DPT degree.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Experience with hands-on therapeutic modalities
