Job Summary
Manage a diverse range of cases including cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy as a BC/BE Comprehensive Ophthalmologist. Actively participate in teaching and mentoring residents across hospitals, clinics, and operating rooms. Lead community outreach missions through the Guerrilla Eye Service, Mission of Mercy, and eyeVan initiatives to serve the underserved. Collaborate on innovative research projects focused on the science of care delivery. Join multiple practice opportunities at UPMC Mercy, UPMC Shadyside, UPMC Oakland, and community satellite sites within a supportive, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology
- Current Pennsylvania medical licensure or ability to obtain licensure
