Compounding Supervisor -3rd Shift

Job Summary
Oversee the Compounding Department operations across the 1st and 2nd floors, ensuring timely delivery of accurate, high-quality batches to Production while maintaining maximum cleanliness, environmental compliance, and safety. Interview, train, supervise, and evaluate Compounders, Lead Compounders, and Sanitizers; conduct weekly audits to verify safe, sanitary environments and investigate work-related injuries. Approve batch procedures and formulas to prevent errors, inspect batch records for accuracy, and collaborate with Quality Assurance on batch error investigations and corrective actions. Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures, submit supply requisitions, and ensure all Work Orders are correctly closed in the SAGE X3 ERP System. Work closely with Production and Scheduling to meet production timelines and implement lean manufacturing methods.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a Compounding/Manufacturing environment
- 2 to 5 years of experience with GMP, FDA, Texas Department of Health, safety training
- Ability to learn how to use the In-Processing Compounding Form and using Viscosity and pH meters
- Regularly sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, stoop repeatedly
- Physically able to lift 75 pounds and manipulate up to a 500-pound drum on a regular basis
- Must be able to discern differences in colors and shades
- Good eye/hand coordination
- Ability to seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise working with hand or hands
- Must be available for 3rd shift Friday- Sunday 5:00am – 6:00pm
- Must be able to work overtime
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance at work
