Compounding Pharmacy Technician I

Under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist, the Compounding Technician I works in a clean room to compound medications at least 50% of the time, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient compounding operations. Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists with preparation and dispensing of medications, performing basic pharmaceutical calculations, accurately labeling and packaging medications, maintaining accurate records and logs (temperature, cleaning), inspecting equipment, and supporting medication safety and quality initiatives. Requires basic customer service skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
