Compounding Manager - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Oversee the 1st and 2nd floor Compounding Department operations, ensuring timely delivery of accurate, high-quality product batches while maintaining maximum cleanliness, environmental compliance, and safety. Supervise all personnel including supervisors, compounders, and sanitizers by interviewing, training, counseling, and evaluating staff. Conduct weekly audits to verify adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and safety policies. Investigate batch errors with Quality Assurance, approve batch procedures and formulas, and manage supply requisitions based on department needs. Lead special projects, collaborate with Operations and Production teams to meet schedules, and implement cost-saving measures and lean manufacturing methods. Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment managing team performance against quotas.
Required Qualifications
- 7 or more years prior work experience in CPG manufacturing industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of production management
- Ability to learn how to use the In-Processing Compounding Form and using Viscosity and pH meters
- Organized and analytical
- Self-directed and motivated
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Regular and punctual attendance at work
- Physically able to lift 75 pounds and manipulate up to a 500-pound drum on a periodic basis
- Must be able to discern differences in colors and shades
- Good eye/hand coordination
- Ability to seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise working with hand or hands
