Job Summary
Prepare flavor compounds by following chemist formulations, conduct physical, chemical, and sensory testing, and document results. Maintain a safe, compliant lab environment, manage equipment and inventory, and coordinate orders and repairs. Perform calculations and operate benchtop lab equipment as well as analytical instruments (densitometer, refractometer, pH meter); handle data entry, sample documentation, shipping, and communication. Opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and participate in training and development during onboarding and beyond.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent lab experience preferred
- good written and oral communications skills
- basic math skills
- ability to follow detailed product preparation instructions
- ability to lift 30 lbs and stand frequently
- proficient in MS Office
- well organized and able to multitask
- team player with a positive attitude
