Job Summary
Collect and weigh up residual bulk, clean formulation equipment including bulk tanks and supply lines, and disassemble filters. Calibrate scales and pH meters, clean work areas, and sample the water system within Formulation areas. Record accurate data into logbooks and batch records while maintaining data integrity and ensuring cleanliness in compounding zones. Coordinate directly with the Lead Compounder, Formulation Supervisor, and Production Supervisors to prevent scheduling problems and stop production whenever efficiency, quality, or safety is unsatisfactory. Perform other related duties as requested by the Formulation Lead Compounder and Manufacturing Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work in an environment where chemicals are handled and dispensed daily
- Ability to take feedback constructively and function in a team-oriented work environment
- Must be able to read documents in Standard English such as Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance schedules and operating manuals
- Ability to maintain a clean-shaven appearance each working shift to wear tight-fitting respirators properly
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time while fulfilling job duties
