Job Summary
Conduct accurate weighing, mixing, and calibration of chemical compounds for product formulations while monitoring mixing machinery and adjusting pH and oxygen levels for in-process testing. Operate volumetric and gravimetric processes to prepare batches for production lines, maintaining precise records in logbooks and complying with cGMP and GDP standards. Clean and sanitize tanks, equipment, and containers in accordance with SOPs, handling hazardous materials and Antineoplastic products within clean room environments. Perform duties on 12-hour overnight shifts with a direct differential of $1.75 per hour, requiring full mental alertness and physical ability to lift 75lbs. This role supports the Nanotechnology department at Fresenius Kabi, a global health care company dedicated to providing lifesaving medicines and technologies for critical and chronically ill patients.
Required Qualifications
- 12-Hour Overnight Shifts
- Ability to work with Antineoplastic products
- Assistance in the Nanotechnology department
- Strict adherence to safety requirements, SOPs, cGMPs, Batch Records and other controlling documentation
- Joint work efforts with others and ensuring group safety practices are met
- Ability to work in respirators, including half-mask and full forced air breathing apparatus
- Ability to work in clean room environments where clean room clothing is required
- Ability to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to lift in excess of 75lbs
- Ability to move 55 gal drum on and of a pallet
- Ability to move or handle large motors
- Ability to assemble and disassemble large pieces of equipment and tanks
- Ability to mentally focus on duties and ability to stay mentally alert 100% of time
- Ability to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English
