Composites Technician - Trim and Assembly (Weekends a)

Job Summary
Trim composite material using specialized hand and power tools to dimensions and tolerances measured in fractions of a millimetre. Fit composite components for bonded assemblies and perform repairs such as filling voids or fixing damage using appropriate techniques. Self-inspect finished parts to guarantee conformance to engineering drawings and procedures. Bond and assemble components in line with company standards while working closely with other departments to optimize workflow and meet production targets. Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to 5S and LEAN principles and follow data capturing processes for regulatory compliance. This weekend shift role operates Friday to Sunday from 06:30 to 18:30.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in trimming and assembly
- Confidence trimming composite components to precise dimensions
- A solid understanding of adhesive specifications and their properties
- Knowledge of a range of surface preparation methods for composite bonding
- Proficiency in composite repair techniques
- Strong communication skills
