Job Summary
Lead cross-functional development to convert innovation opportunities into viable composite-materials solutions by integrating material selection, manufacturing processes, and part design; serve as the primary technical interface with customers within Syensqo’s Aerospace and Defense market segment; develop and advance new composite materials and processing technologies aligned with market trends and customer needs; advise on material and process selection for new composite application development; identify technology gaps and prioritize product/process development; promote Syensqo products and articulate their value propositions to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Materials Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years' demonstrated work experience in aerospace composite structures or related domains
- Minimum 2 years' experience reviewing composite part designs/drawings for manufacturability and specification compliance
- Minimum 3 years' experience in R&D of composite materials and processing technologies
- At least 3 years' experience in understanding the aerospace industry including OEMs, suppliers, programs, aerospace quality systems, composite testing requirements, statistical process control and capability
