Composite Technician

Hands-on role building boats using composite materials. Prepare molds and apply fiberglass and resin using hand layup or vacuum infusion; accurately measure, cut, and place fiberglass cloth and core materials; use rollers, brushes, and tools to ensure even resin distribution and air removal; monitor curing times and perform post-cure trimming or grinding; follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and equipment; maintain a clean, organized work area; communicate material needs or issues with the team. Requires a strong work ethic, ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs), and attention to detail. Experience with composites/lamination is a plus but not required. On-the-job training provided; compensation starts at $22/hour with full benefits, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and profit-sharing. Location: Holland, MI, USA; 1st shift with no mandatory weekends.
