Job Summary

Perform adhesive and structural bonding repairs on aircraft components, including nacelle, composite, and metallic structures, in accordance with approved engineering data and FAA regulations. Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and chemical treatment, then mix and apply adhesives while installing fixtures and vacuum bagging systems for curing. Monitor temperature and pressure cycles, inspect bonded assemblies for adhesion and alignment, and interpret technical work instructions. Maintain accurate repair documentation and adhere to strict safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and respirators. Requires high school diploma, basic knowledge of reading engineering drawings, and mechanical aptitude.

Required Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge on how to read and interpret OEM/ engineering drawings, technical orders, and OEM repair data
  • Complete set of hand tools for general maintenance work
  • Basic Quantum knowledge
  • Mechanical and Mathematical Aptitude
