Job Summary
Operate high-temperature furnaces, ovens, and presses; perform loading, unloading, startup, and shutdown activities for composite materials. Fabricate, process, inspect, and package materials while maintaining safety and quality standards using scales, calipers, and gauges. Monitor equipment, respond to issues, and participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement. Record inspection results, complete computer entries, and maintain production logs and safety documentation. Safely move materials with hoists, electric pallet jacks, and other approved equipment. Perform routine light equipment maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized. Cross-train and assist coworkers to support a flexible, team-oriented production environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation, troubleshooting, and production processes
- Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions
- Basic math, measurement, computer, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, reach, use hands, and lift or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to perform tasks requiring close and color vision
- Ability to wear required PPE, including a respirator

Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of manufacturing or related experience
