Job Summary
Component Engineer responsible for component lifecycle and PCN management, data extraction and market intelligence for components and materials, and governance of material databases; provides technical guidance on datasheet interpretation, component selection, failure analysis, and supplier coordination; leads failure investigations and corrective actions, supports supplier audits, and ensures regulatory compliance and supply assurance; requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in electronic components, with strong skills in BOM/PLM/ERP (SAP/Oracle), data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools is expected; English is required, with Chinese or Vietnamese as an added advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or above in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the design, sustaining, testing, qualification, or application of electronic/electrical components and products
- Familiar with component lifecycle management, obsolescence monitoring, alternate part qualification, and supplier technical engagement
- Experience in engineering change management processes, including ECO/ECN implementation and cross-functional coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) with data handling and analytical skills
