Job Summary
Design and development of eAxle sealing interfaces including O-rings and radial shaft seals; apply GD&T and tolerance stack-up to sealing interfaces; select elastomer materials (EPDM, HNBR, FKM, ACM) considering media, aging, and environmental conditions; interpret manufacturing drawings and derive sealing groove/counter-surface designs; proficient in Siemens NX for sealing/interface design and SAP for part releases and BOMs; lead design release, manage deviations, and coordinate with suppliers; ensure production-readiness and integration of sealing components; perform DRBFM and FMEA, validate concepts, and communicate results across engineering and management levels; understand manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, and forming; ensure compliance with standards (ISO 3601, DIN, OEM internal standards).
Required Qualifications
- BE / BTech in Mechanical or Automobile
- 6-10 years of experience in mechanical design of sealing components or related field
