Compliance Testing Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of field-deployed compliance tank and line testing personnel, directing supervisors, preparing annual goals, and approving timesheets. Review field documentation for regulatory reporting, submit customer job proposals and invoices, and manage tester inventory. Periodically assist with troubleshooting fuel containment tests, leak detection, and equipment integrity while ensuring site safety and policy adherence. Maintain OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification and valid driver's license; perform heavy physical labor including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally. Requires 5+ years of experience with underground storage tank systems and mobile device proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High school education, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of related experience including but not limited to field experience related to underground storage tank fueling systems including tank top, fittings, i.e. spill buckets, vapor recovery, overfill devices, containment sumps, STP and piping apparatus
- OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification upon hire or within 12 months of hire
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain any State Licenses which may be required
- Knowledge of electronic and petroleum equipment repair, testing, products
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, and other employees of the cross divisional depts in the organization
- Ability to work independently with little or no direction
- Ability to perform manual technical, mechanical and service work and equipment operation as described
- Knowledge and experience with computer programs (Mobile web-based applications, Basic Microsoft Excel)
- Ability for overnight travel
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor exerting up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis performing such tasks as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping
