Job Summary
The Compliance Support Manager role focuses on ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies within the financial services sector. Based in Sydney CBD, this mid-senior, permanent full-time position supports the compliance team by identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks. Responsibilities include developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures, conducting regular audits and risk assessments, guiding staff on compliance issues, monitoring legislative changes, preparing and presenting reports to senior management, collaborating across departments to foster a culture of compliance, and assisting in staff training on compliance matters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance within the financial services sector
- Strong understanding of Australian financial regulations and compliance frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
- Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
