Job Summary
Compliance Supervisor role to assure CMS Supplier Standards, CHAP accreditation, HIPAA, and healthcare compliance through internal audits, audit reporting, and initiative follow-up. Responsibilities include opening/closing meetings, documenting findings in QA software, maintaining annual audit schedule, ensuring findings are addressed within 30 days, handling patient complaints, maintaining HIPAA privacy compliance, coordinating document control for CHAP/HIPAA policies, scheduling quarterly Quality and Performance Improvement Reviews, presenting trends to cross-functional teams, researching licensing requirements for new products, investigating compliance incidents with risk assessments, and supporting the VP of Compliance and Quality. Supervises Compliance Specialist, oversees licenses, and supports comprehensive compliance program activities. The role is based in Rochester Hills, MI with hybrid work options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college
- 2-4 years’ experience in healthcare regulatory/compliance
- experience with healthcare accreditation (CHAP/HIPAA)
- analytical/problem-solving skills
- attention to detail
- document-control/records management experience
- ability to conduct investigations and risk assessment
- ability to communicate findings and prepare reports
