Job Summary

Traveling Compliance Specialist responsible for ensuring HUD, state agency, and LIHTC regulatory compliance across occupancy, file rectifications, and tax credit requirements. Core duties include liaising with HUD/state agencies on Section 8 contract renewals, preparing weekly Occupancy Reports, monitoring TRACS voucher transmissions, notifying UPF of expiring contracts or funding deficiencies, coordinating contract renewals with regional HUD offices, maintaining compliance binders for rent/income regulatory updates, and conducting on-site file audits with property teams to ensure regulatory adherence. Requires travel to properties in Philadelphia, PA and Trenton, NJ. Ideal candidate demonstrates strong knowledge of affordable housing compliance, exceptional written and verbal communication, organizational excellence, ability to work independently and within a team, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of HUD, state agency, and tax credit rules and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
