Job Summary
Assess enterprise-wide compliance risks and translate regulations into practical guidance for business units. Maintain relationships across the Credit Union to influence strong compliance standards, specifically addressing Fair Lending, HMDA, UDAAP, and Bank Secrecy Act requirements. Review formal complaints and member surveys to identify trends, then serve as the point of contact for complaint intake, documentation, and resolution. Collaborate with departments to investigate root causes, recommend corrective actions, and maintain accurate records for management reporting. This role supports the Miramar Operation Center within Space Coast Credit Union's not-for-profit mission to deliver safe, member-first financial services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years' of recent and applicable regulatory compliance experience in at least one of the following areas: enterprise-wide compliance, compliance risk management, fair lending, HMDA, and UDAAP
- Minimum 1 year experience in SCCU Training, Underwriting, Processing, Servicing, or Loss Prevention Department
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- NCCO, CUCE, CRCM, or equivalent credit union or banking compliance certification
