Job Summary
Oversee daily activities of the Flood Portfolio and the BAI Learning Management System, including assigning monthly training courses and updating the system with employee title changes and custom content. Validate HMDA and CRA data, review appraisal reports completed by external appraisers, and communicate noteworthy aspects to Loan Officers as necessary. Resolve correctable issues found in appraisal reports with the appraiser, loan staff, and/or Chief Regulatory Officer. Prepare and present information for internal committees while maintaining technical knowledge of flood insurance regulations and internal procedures. Attend continuing education training, including webinars, seminars, and conferences, which may require travel to off-site locations. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week with primarily local travel, occasional out-of-the-area trips, and on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of the flood insurance regulations and internal procedures that support management of the program
- Demonstrate general knowledge of all regulations under the purview of the Compliance Management Program
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to comprehend technical written material
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Problem solving
- Ability to work with other business units and outside vendors
- Proficient with computers including use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer; and the ability to learn and operate numerous software applications related to the function
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and still meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected
