Job Summary
Compliance Specialist to support construction operations by ensuring insurance, bonding, and compliance requirements are met accurately and on time. Serves as liaison between insurance agents, subcontractors, field management, and internal teams; manages Certificates of Insurance, performs contract reviews, identifies risks, and uses Excel/compliance systems to track requirements, deadlines, and reporting accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Adobe (PDF review, editing, and documentation)
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Self-driven with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Strong problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking skills
- Comfortable working with contracts, compliance language, and risk assessment
- Able to prioritize competing needs across multiple projects and entities
- Calm under pressure with thick skin in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communicator capable of working directly with external partners
